The meeting on early school leaving

On December 2nd 2015 in a Conference Hall of Town Council was held a meeting of town authorities and the persons responsible for education in municipality of Zychlin. The aim was to present the activities undertaken under the project „ Our School, my future- ESL project”in Complex School in Żychlin and a discussion on the implementation of the plan to prevent the ESL . The meeting was attended by Mayor of Zychlin -Grzegorz, Ambroziak, Margaret Szymańska - Head of the Department of Education and Health, Edith Ledzion- Director of obtaining EU funds , Chairman of the Board of Education – Krzysztof Falkowski and its members Matilda Jakubowska- Czaja and Anna Wrzesińska, Joanna Czajkowska –Deputy of ZS No.1 in Żychlin.

Iwona Kciuk presented statistics of ESL in Europe and Poland, the causes of this phenomenon and ways to combat this problem. Then Student Development Program in Complex School in Żychlin was presented. The program includes a range of activities undertaken in the framework of the curricula and extracurricular activities strengthen the motivation to help overcome difficulties and prezent ESL. The next step was discussion on the phenomenon of ESL and ways to help the youth in our community.
